Rothschild Rosé – Mouton Cadet

It's not often that a prestigious First Growth makes a Rosé – but Baroness Philippine de Rothschild added a Rosé to the Mouton Cadet range in 2007. Mouton Cadet isn't quite the black sheep (excuse the pun) of the Mouton family but it is the brand name of a popular range of modestly priced, generic Bordeaux wines, considered Bordeaux's most successful brand.

It's also a sign that Rosé is undergoing a renaissance and is here to stay.
