Winery Weddings

Marriage ceremonies in vineyards are becoming popular across the USA. If the thought of pledging your troth under the vines appeals to you Chilford Hall (http://www.chilfordhall.co.uk/ ) in Cambridgeshire is closer to home, is the largest vineyard in East Anglia and is one of the region's most respected wine producers. Denbies Vineyard (http://www.denbiesvineyard.co.uk/) in Surrey also hold wedding services in their chateau style visitor centre set strikingly amongst hundreds of acres of vines.

More and more people are choosing to have themed weddings and the Wine Themed Wedding comes in at number 3 in the top 7 themes. Apparently you can hire a sommelier to put together a flight of wine for a reception tasting, or choose wines that mean something to the both of you. Perhaps the first bottle you ordered at a restaurant . . . or a champagne dated the year you met.

Decorations can include grapevines, wine bottles, or posters of wine regions. For wedding favours you can give your guests a bottle of wine with a personalized label of the bride and groom. You can find all the grape accessories you can think of at www.askginka.com/themes/grapestheme.htm.
