I have just returned from a few days holiday in Wales with the Katie and Rosie. We managed to snatch a few precious days before the last minute dash of Christmas shopping.
The cottage we stay in is an idyllic retreat and Nick very thoughtfully keeps a supply of wine there for the weary travellers to relax with once they have negotiated hair pin bends and endured hours of gridlock caused by errant sheep or tractors.
Much to my surprise I discovered that we had had unexpected visitors who were so impressed by Nick's wine that they had taken it upon themselves to crack a few bottles open. Luckily they didn't succeed – having been unable to locate the bottle opener. This hadn't deterred out four legged burglars who had tried to chew through the corks!
